Women's Hair Transplants
Microscopic Follicular Hair Transplants
Surgical hair transplants for women seeking alternative hair loss treatments to hair replacement have gained popularity recently due to the advent of micro-grafting, i.e., single hair implants. They can be significantly beneficial and produce life changing effects for the right candidate.
The attraction of transplants is growing your own hair. There is no additional maintenance required, except to style your hair. Through utilizing your own growing hair and repositioning and redistributing it through the thinning areas of your hair, can achieve great results.
There are two key factors for Hair Transplant success: Skill and Selection.
» Skill
The first key to a successful procedure in this hair loss treatment lies in the skill and artistry of the surgeon. Positioning the hair with the correct direction and orientation to replicate your natural hair growth requires precision. Our doctor is Australia's only 'Gold Standard' hair transplant surgeon, the only surgeon in Australia to specialize exclusively in hair transplants. When transplants are all you do, you become extremely good at it! The international hair transplant community has recognised their efforts for excellence in research and development.
» Selection
The second key to a successful hair transplant lies in selecting the correct clients. Not everyone is suitable for a hair losss treatment such as hair replacement or hair transplant. The most important factor is the quality and quantity of your donor hair. Although extra volume and density can be created in the thinning areas of your hair, there is actually no net gain of hair – merely the redistribution of hair from thicker areas to thinner areas. The more donor hair you have, the better your hair transplant result. Further, the better the quality of your donor hair, the more volume you can create.
The first step towards great hair is to have a consultation with your friendly Transitions hair expert.
There are many things that must be considered for a successful hair transplant and our consultants are trained to determine whether results desired are achievable through a transplant.
What you can expect:
If a hair transplant is the desired hair loss treatment and you are a suitable candidate, your Transitions consultant will arrange an appointment with our doctor. Often there is a waiting period of several weeks. The procedure itself is carried out under local anaesthetic and only takes a few hours. It is possible to go back to work the next day, but we would suggest taking a few days off. Ten days later you will be required to come back to the studio to check on the progress of the newly implanted hairs, and then again in three months.
Call now for a free, private, and confidential consultation: 08 8239 2243
Special Offer: Receive 3 months Hair Laser Therapy post-procedure FREE - valued at over $700. Our experience has shown that laser therapy speeds the healing of the skin and dramatically increases the rate of growth of the newly implanted hair.
Recommended for mild to moderate female pattern thinning.
"I can't believe I'm doing this, but it's important. I have gradually been losing my hair since my late teens and it has knocked my confidence immensely. I always look at women with beautiful thick hair and think 'why the hell couldn't I have hair like that?' I used to, it used to be so long and thick but most of it has fallen out now. Now I barely have any. I know that there are a lot of women out there suffering from the same issue (1 in 3 in fact) and I want you to know that there is help available for you if you want it. I have just spent the last few hours with the most amazing woman who has put this solution together for me and I feel like a new person. I can't wait to start learning styling tricks again, I'm so excited!"

"I’m really thankful to have met the people at Transitions. They understood what I was going through with my hair loss and were very empathetic to my needs - it was quite different from other places I had visited. Most importantly, I love what they have done for my hair, it looks great! I feel so much more confident. I would have no trouble in recommending Transitions to anyone. I wish I had of visited them first!"

“It’s very reliable in those ‘intimate’ situations. I know a lot of girls in the online community worry about that. You don't want to have this great hair solution that is going to fall down on you at the last hurdle.”

"I now wear a large topette of human European hair. It feels beautiful to run my fingers through! My hairdresser says it has been lovely hair to cut and style. She doesn’t have to manipulate its texture or direction. The colour looks very natural and I am totally confident that the fact that it does not grow from my scalp is undetectable among the public and my large workplace.
I hardly comb it which sounds odd but due to the quality it does not need a lot of work on it.
I know it is superior as I have worn other topettes of asian or indian hair origin for 10 years. I feel more psychologically and physically connected to this piece as it is closer to my European genes. I feel amazing in it – the hair I have always wanted!"

Hi Transitions, It's been a while since we last saw you and I just wanted to keep you up to date with Lucy's progress. Basically you saved her! The Follea wig you fitted her with is absolutely amazing, completely natural looking and really beautiful. She went from being depressed and sad to her old lively self again, enjoying bike riding, dancing and sleep overs.
